Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration Information & Restrictions

Venus Primary School offers full-day Pre-kindergarten to students who are 4 years old by September 1st of the current school year and meet at least one of the federal requirements. **If your student was in the VPS Prekindergarten program (2022-2023), you must only complete the "Back to School" registration in July 2023, not new student registration. Current VPS Prekindergarten students will automatically enroll in 2023-2024 Kindergarten classes.
Please bring the following documents:

  • Documentation of Identity and Age

    • Birth certificate
    • Passport
    • Military ID
    • Statement of child's date of birth provided by the Texas Department of State Health Services
    • Adoption record

  • Social Security Card (optional)

  • Immunization (Shot) Record

  • Picture ID of Parent/Guardian

  • Proof of Residence

    • Current utility bill -- water, gas, or electricity showing current address.
    • If you have just moved, or your rent and your utilities are included in your rental payment, you may bring a current copy of your lease or rental agreement
    • If you reside with another individual and your name is not included on the lease, rental agreement, or utility bill, a notarized letter from the homeowner or lessee stating that you reside with them, along with a copy of their current utility bill will be accepted or use the form below.​​ *no cost notaries will be on hand during the events both the parent and the parent must be present with a valid form of identification to complete the form.
  • Most recent Report Card (Grades 1-12) *if applicable
  • Withdrawal form from the previous school, with current withdrawal grades *if applicable
  • Pre-K students must be 4 before September 1st
  • Proof of Income (Pre-K only)

INFORMACIÓN Y RESTRICCIONES PARA LA INSCRIPCIÓN EN PRE-KINDERGARTEN Y KINDERGARTEN

La Escuela Primaria de Venus ofrece prekínder de día completo a los estudiantes que tengan 4 años antes del 1 de septiembre del año escolar actual y cumplan con al menos uno de los requisitos federales. **Si su estudiante estaba en el programa de prekínder de VPS (2022-2023), solo deberá completar el registro de "Regreso a la escuela" en julio de 2023, no el registro de nuevo estudiante.
